## v1.7.0 — Single Instance & HWiNFO Support

Stability and more sensors. FPSVault now runs as a strict single instance — launching it twice can no longer open duplicate dashboards — and the dashboard window is locked to its compact size. The designer's menu bar was attached flush to the top of the window with the toolbar centered, and the interface was decluttered. Biggest addition: HWiNFO integration through its official Shared Memory interface — if HWiNFO is running, every one of its sensors automatically appears inside FPSVault (data sources, layers, logging, benchmarks) with no extra files needed, and the installer can optionally install HWiNFO alongside RTSS for a complete one-click setup.

## v1.6.0 — Menu System, Undo & Data Sources

Editor workflow, perfected. A full menu bar arrived in the designer — Layouts (New, Load, Merge, Save, templates and themes, Import/Export), Data sources, Tables, Layers and Help — along with a complete Undo/Redo system (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y, up to 60 steps covering every add, delete, move, resize and property change) and Ctrl+S to save. The Data Sources dialog lets you tick only the sensors you actually use from the 200+ available, keeping the layer sensor dropdown short and clean. The font list now offers every font installed on Windows, the editor grid was removed for free pixel-perfect movement, the designer opens as a single window (clicking again focuses it), and the dashboard button was renamed to "Edit Overlay".

## v1.5.0 — New Dashboard & Bundled Setup

A proper front face. The dashboard was completely redesigned in a compact, professional style: an Info section showing your exact GPU and CPU model, big monitoring tiles for GPU clock, GPU temperature, memory clock, GPU load, CPU load, CPU temperature, RAM and live FPS, and a clean Controls row — with the full 290-sensor table now tucked behind an "All Sensors" button. The RTSS on-screen display was upgraded to a multi-line sensor block (FPS + lows, GPU, CPU, RAM/VRAM), hotkey capture was fixed to apply instantly, and the installer now bundles the FPS engine inside the application folder and can optionally install RivaTuner Statistics Server — one setup file, nothing manual.

## v1.4.0 — Live Color Wheel & Settings

Design faster, control deeper. A live HSV color wheel with a brightness slider was added for both layer colors and the panel background — drag around the wheel and the real overlay recolors instantly, no save needed. The editor canvas switched to a neutral gray, Photoshop-style workspace. A new Settings window brought fully customizable hotkeys (click a box, press a key — applied immediately), automatic startup with Windows, and a "hidden until hotkey" mode where the overlay stays invisible on the desktop and appears only when you press your hotkey in-game. The old green glow around the overlay edges was also removed for a clean, flat look.

## v1.3.0 — Pro Editor

The designer grows up. This release rebuilt the editor with professional tooling: rubber-band multi-select (drag on empty canvas to select many layers and move them as a group), Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V duplication that creates fully independent copies, free mouse resizing with a corner grip (images and backgrounds stretch freely in width and height), the keyboard Delete key, z-order control with the [ and ] keys, blank background box layers with custom colors, and a Layer Type switcher so any layer can be converted between stat, FPS, meter, gauge, graph, text, image, fan and background.

## v1.2.0 — Customization Pack

Make it truly yours. The overlay panel background became fully customizable: seven color presets plus a custom hex field, or any PNG/JPG image as the panel background. A new overlay scale slider (0.5×–2.0×) resizes the entire overlay for any screen resolution. Static text layers were added (your name, channel or any caption with no sensor attached), PNG image layers for game logos, and rotating image support — tick "Rotate" on any PNG (like a fan cutout) and it spins on its own axis in a loop. The whole app also received a professional dark UI restyle.

## v1.1.0 — Quality of Life Update

Small features, big comfort. This update added an overlay opacity slider (20–100%), a Celsius / Fahrenheit toggle that converts both text stats and gauges, RAM and VRAM now displayed as used/total (e.g. "12.0/16.0 GB"), a Ctrl + right-click quick menu directly on the overlay (hide, snap to corner, °F toggle, exit), and one-click corner snapping that respects the Windows taskbar.

## v1.0.0 — Official Release

FPSVault 1.0 ships. The first complete release: a branded application icon across the exe, taskbar, tray and installer, and a professional Windows installer built with Inno Setup — Program Files installation, Start Menu and desktop shortcuts, optional start-with-Windows, a proper uninstaller that preserves your profiles and logs, and full in-place upgrade support. The build is fully self-contained, so end users don't need to install anything else to run FPSVault.

## v0.7.0 — RTSS Integration, Hotkeys & Plugin SDK

Pro features for power users. FPSVault stats can now mirror into the RivaTuner Statistics Server on-screen display through RTSS's official shared-memory interface — meaning your stats appear even inside exclusive-fullscreen games, with no injection performed by FPSVault itself. Global hotkeys were added (toggle overlay, toggle click-through, start/stop logging, launch a benchmark — all working while gaming), plus a Plugin SDK: drop a .NET DLL implementing the sensor-provider interface into the plugins folder and its sensors appear everywhere in the app.

## v0.6.0 — Logging & Benchmark

Performance analysis built in. FPSVault became a serious benchmarking tool: session logging records FPS, frametime, 1% / 0.1% lows, GPU and CPU load and temperature, RAM and VRAM twice per second, and a one-click 60-second benchmark produces a full summary — average / min / max FPS, lows, average frametime, peak temperatures and peak VRAM. Every run is automatically exported as both CSV (open it in Excel) and JSON, with the game name and timestamp in the filename.

v0.5.0 — Themes & Templates

One-click professional looks. This release added four ready-made overlay templates (Minimal, Full Dashboard, Racing HUD and Streamer), six color themes (Neon Green, Cyberpunk, Ice, Lava, Royal, Stealth) that recolor the whole layout intelligently by widget role, a rainbow RGB animation mode with a per-widget wave effect, custom font support, and template Export/Import so layouts can be shared as files with anyone.

## v0.4.0 — Animated Widgets

The overlay comes alive. Four new animated widget types were added: circular progress meters with a glowing ring and large center value, 270° needle gauges with a smooth-moving needle, real-time scrolling line graphs for any sensor (FPS, temperatures, clocks), and animated fan icons whose spin speed follows the bound sensor — the harder your GPU works, the faster the fan spins. All widgets render live with real sensor data inside the designer while you edit.

## v0.3.0 — Overlay Designer

Full customization begins. This release introduced the drag-and-drop Overlay Designer: a visual canvas where you add stat widgets, bind them to any of your live sensors, drag them into position, change labels, font sizes and colors, and save the layout instantly to the active game's profile. The overlay itself was rebuilt as a dynamic widget canvas, meaning every game can have a completely different overlay design.

## v0.2.0 — FPS Engine

Real FPS measurement arrives. FPSVault gained a professional frame-analysis engine powered by ETW frame capture (zero injection — completely safe with anti-cheat systems). The overlay now displays live FPS, frametime in milliseconds, and the 1% / 0.1% low metrics that hardware reviewers rely on. This version also introduced automatic game detection and per-game profiles: drag the overlay to a position while playing a game, and FPSVault remembers that position for that specific game forever.

## v0.1.0 — Core Foundation

**The first working build of FPSVault.** This release established the heart of the software: a real-time hardware monitoring engine capable of reading 290+ live sensors from your PC — GPU, CPU, RAM, storage, motherboard, fans and network — with support for NVIDIA, AMD and Intel hardware. It introduced the dashboard window with a live sensor table, a system tray icon with quick controls, and the very first on-screen overlay: a draggable, transparent panel showing GPU load and temperature, CPU load and temperature, RAM usage and VRAM consumption in real time.
