Built by gamers,
for gamers
FPS Vault is a lightweight overlay and hardware monitoring tool that shows you exactly what your PC is doing — while you play, without getting in the way.
Our Story
How a personal frustration turned into a tool used by gamers everywhere.
FPS Vault started with a simple problem. We wanted to know why a game was stuttering — was it the CPU, the GPU, thermals, or memory? The tools that could tell us were either heavy, ugly, cluttered with features we never touched, or locked behind a subscription.
So we built our own. It began as a small overlay for one PC, showing just four numbers in a corner. Then friends wanted it. Then their friends. Every request added something: more sensors, better looking designs, an editor so people could build their own layouts instead of asking us.
“Your monitoring tool should never be the reason your frame rate drops.”
That line became our design rule. Every feature we add has to earn its place — if it costs performance, it either gets optimized until it doesn't, or it doesn't ship. FPS Vault runs in the background using minimal resources, and you can turn off any sensor you don't need.
Today FPS Vault is a full overlay platform: a library of ready-made designs, a drag-and-drop editor, detailed hardware monitoring, and a marketplace where creators share and sell their own overlay designs. It's still built and maintained by a small team that reads every support ticket personally.
What FPS Vault Does
Everything you need to see, understand and control your PC's performance.
Real-time performance monitoring
See your FPS, frame times, CPU and GPU usage, clock speeds, temperatures, fan speeds, RAM and VRAM usage — live, while your game is running. No alt-tabbing, no second monitor required.
A library of ready-made overlays
Over a hundred overlay designs — minimal, tactical, neon, retro, and everything between. Download one, and it's on screen in seconds. No setup, no configuration files.
A real overlay editor
Not happy with the presets? Build your own. Drag in text, gauges, graphs and bars, pick your sensors, set your colours and fonts, position everything exactly where you want it — then save it as your own overlay.
Full hardware monitoring
Beyond the overlay, FPS Vault gives you a complete hardware dashboard — component details, live graphs, historical data and temperature alerts so you know before something overheats.
A creator marketplace
Designers can publish their overlay creations and earn from them. Gamers get a constantly growing catalogue of designs made by people who actually use them.
Works with your games
DirectX 11, DirectX 12, Vulkan and OpenGL are all supported, so FPS Vault works across modern and older titles alike.
Why FPS Vault is Different
Plenty of monitoring tools exist. Here's what we do differently.
Genuinely lightweight
Performance overhead is something we measure on every release. A monitoring tool that costs you frames defeats its own purpose.
Pay once, keep it
One payment of $6.99 — lifetime access, all future updates included. No subscriptions, no renewals, no feature paywalls appearing later.
Design you'd actually keep on screen
Most monitoring overlays look like debug output. Ours are made to look good on stream and in screenshots.
Try before you pay
A free 7-day demo key unlocks every premium feature. No card required, no trial with half the features disabled.
Support from real people
Every ticket is read and answered by someone who works on the software — not a script or an outsourced desk.
Shaped by users
Most of what's in FPS Vault today started as a user request. Suggest something and it genuinely gets considered.

FPS Vault in Numbers
Our Journey
From a personal side project to a full overlay platform.
A simple overlay for one PC
Four numbers in a corner of the screen, built to answer one question: why is this game stuttering?
The design library
Requests for different looks kept coming in, so we built a library of ready-made overlay designs instead of making them one by one.
The overlay editor
Rather than take design requests forever, we shipped a full drag-and-drop editor so anyone could build exactly what they wanted.
A creator marketplace
Designers now publish and sell their own overlays, and the catalogue grows without us touching it. The platform belongs to its community.
Still building
New sensors, deeper benchmarking, and more creator tools are in progress. See what's coming on our Upcoming Updates page.
