1. About FPS Vault
FPS Vault ("we", "us") provides a Windows desktop application for real-time FPS and hardware monitoring with customizable overlays, along with this website (fpsvault.com), overlay templates, and related services (together, the "Service"). By downloading the software, creating an account, or purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms.
2. Payments & Merchant of Record
All purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. ("Paddle"), acting as our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes (VAT/sales tax), and receipts. Your order confirmation and invoice will come from Paddle. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
3. License Grant
When you buy FPS Vault, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on the number of PCs stated in your plan (by default, one PC). Your license key is bound to your hardware. The software includes a 7-day offline grace period; after that, periodic online activation checks are required. You may request a re-activation if you change or upgrade your PC.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) share, resell, or distribute your license key; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, crack, or bypass the licensing or integrity protection of the software; (c) use the Service for cheating, game manipulation, or any purpose that violates a game's terms of service; (d) upload malicious content to the overlay marketplace or misuse community features. Violations may result in license termination without refund.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may sign in via email or supported social logins (Google, Discord, Steam). We may suspend accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
6. Updates & Availability
Your license includes lifetime updates for as long as FPS Vault is actively developed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of online services (activation, marketplace, website) and may perform maintenance at any time.
7. Third-Party Software
FPS Vault bundles or interoperates with third-party components (such as RivaTuner Statistics Server, PresentMon, and Microsoft WebView2). Those components are governed by their own licenses. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; FPS Vault is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy and processed through Paddle.
9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Performance statistics are estimates and may vary by system. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including game bans, data loss, or hardware issues arising from use of the software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license or account for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; uninstalling the software does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
