What We Collect

We collect only what is needed to run the Service: your name/username, email address, account activity (favorites, reviews, requests), and — for licensed users — a hardware identifier (a one-way hash derived from your PC's hardware) used to bind and verify your license. We do not collect your files, game data, or keystrokes.

Social Login

If you sign in with Google, Discord, or Steam, we receive only your basic profile information (name, email, avatar) from that provider. We never receive or store your passwords for those services.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., our merchant of record. Your payment details (card numbers, billing address) are handled entirely by Paddle and never touch our servers. Paddle shares with us only your name, email, order details, and country for license delivery and tax purposes. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.

License Activation

The FPS Vault app periodically contacts our server to verify your license. These checks send your license key and hardware hash only — no personal files or gameplay data. A 7-day offline grace period means the app works without internet for short periods.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: deliver and activate licenses; send account and order emails (verification, receipts, license keys); provide support; and improve the Service. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions and a small preference (like your dark/light theme choice) stored in your browser. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this site.

Data Retention & Deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time via the contact page; we will remove it except where we must keep order records for legal/tax reasons (held by Paddle).

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, license data is encrypted, and all traffic to our site uses HTTPS. No system is 100% secure, but we follow standard best practices to protect your information.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
